The Griffin Groupe is searching for electrician drafters to join our client’s rapidly-growing company! If you are experienced, have time in the field on vessels and are ready to advance your career further into a lead role in the Marine Industry, we have an opportunity just for you. Our client company services large container ships, fishing vessels and factory trawlers. They are also a UL508A Certified Industrial Control Panel Shop.

• Create electrical drawings using AUTOCAD or other software from design information provided by the field engineers
• Create hook up diagrams for electrical equipment
• Participate in design process, creating rough sketches and diagrams of electrical wiring and systems
• Preparing technical documents and bill of materials
• Assist in testing electrical equipment built in the shop
• Design custom control panels

• College or Trade school preferred
• 2-5 years CAD
• Previous experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Lawful Permanent Resident of US (Green Card) or Employment Permit
• Valid Driver License
• TWIC card (Can be acquired after employment started)
