As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you will collaborate with the local utility operator to inspect natural gas infrastructure that powers your community, providing a critical service to ensure public safety. You will receive training on performing leak surveys using sensitive equipment, identifying abnormal operating conditions (AOCs), and patrolling client infrastructure. Additionally, you will document and report your findings to the utility operator.
Regional& Work Environment Considerations
You will work in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor;
Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.
