The Trust and Safety (TnS) engineering team are responsible for protecting our users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. With the continuous efforts of our trust and safety engineering team, Tik Tok can provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone in the world.

We are building an engineering team dedicated to Trust and Safety's Risk and Response business. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams (XFN) including Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and QAs, to establish public trust through providing solutions to support risk and response business, especially escalation handling.

• Build a scalable, efficient, and robust trust and safety platform and tools;
• Understand product objectives to develop user-friendly platforms;
• Collaborate with trust and safety specialists, experts, and machine learning engineers;
• Improve system design for high stability and performance;
• Work with Trust and Safety teams to protect Tik Tok globally.

• Bachelor's or higher in computer science or related field;
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and at least one programming language:
  Python, Go, PHP, C++, or Java;
• Experience in building, designing, and scaling software architecture;
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive technical challenge resolution;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in trust and safety or risk control system design and implementation is preferred.

Salary range: $112,725 - $177,840 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
