• Manage a cross‑functional team, working with stakeholders to define priorities and set clear direction for your reports
• Lead cross‑functional engineering meetings and design reviews
• Dive into and take ownership for critical embedded software, electrical and mechanical design, DFM and DFT deliverables and issues
• Work closely with partner hardware operations and software development teams
• Assist with recruitment, management, development and maintenance of a world‑class system design team

The team is a group of electrical, mechanical, embedded firmware, manufacturing, and manufacturing engineers who devise hardware that enables Just Walk Out shopping and Amazon One experiences.

• Experience managing successful and high‑performing engineering teams
• Experience delivering products utilizing a production development process
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in RFID (Radio‑Frequency Identification) technology

The base pay for this position ranges from $135,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $234,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
