Job Summary /ResponsibilitiesThe PNW WC Transit Rail Department & Client Account Manager will support the Division Manager to drive growth, strategy, and profitability of AECOM’s Transit-Rail services in the West Coast. This leadership role involves coaching staff in account management, business development, capture management, and project delivery. The ideal candidate is a civil engineer with delivery, growth, and P&L experience and existing relationships with key transit agencies in Washington.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as an external leader for AECOM and maintain a visible profile in the region
- Build and cultivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced growth environment
- Support growth, strategy, and sale of Transit-Rail Services
- Embed and promote SAFEGUARD values and safety-first culture
- Develop meaningful client relationships and a client-driven culture
- Collaborate with operations and leadership on staffing, recruiting, retention, and engagement
- Support project performance, quality, safety, technical excellence, and profitability
- Foster equity, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and innovation
- Lead negotiations of contracts with clients and sub-consultants
- Think strategically while driving the financial execution of the Division’s P&L
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency in experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Civil Engineer in Washington
- BS Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated leadership and managing large teams with prior P&L experience
- Ability to build broad internal and external networks and lead others
- Ability to mentor technical staff and apply relevant technical skills
- Team-oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Clear and effective communication to clients, leadership, and technical staff
- Ability to balance responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality
