Electrical Construction Estimator – Healthcare Projects
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects, ensuring effective cost management and project success.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive cost management plans.
- Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options.
- Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering.
- Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Utilise industry‑specific estimating software and tools to prepare estimates.
- Provide estimating advice, guidance, and analysis to project stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry‑specific estimating processes and methodologies.
- Prepare formal estimating reports, including quantities, costs, escalations, and other assumptions and clarifications.
- Assist in the development of estimating standards and best practices.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related construction field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting programme‑level cost management for medium or large‑scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction industry technical matters.
- Strong communication skills.
- Thrives in a client‑facing role.
The salary range for this full‑time role is $100K‑$140K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. The posted range reflects base salary only.
