This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will define and lead the strategic vision for additive manufacturing at Blue Origin. We are seeking an individual to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. • Develop and implement the strategic vision for additive manufacturing at Blue Origin.
• Align additive manufacturing initiatives with overall company goals and customer needs.
• Coordinate the development of new additive manufacturing processes and technologies that are scalable, efficient, and meet quality standards.
• Increase production capabilities and efficiency of additive manufacturing processes.
• Champion the digital transformation of manufacturing operations by adopting advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning. Leverage data analytics to optimize production efficiency.
• Work closely with different programs and departments to integrate additive manufacturing solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing additive manufacturing team.

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or manufacturing field. Masters or MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing in an area such as launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, automotive, medical devices, power generation systems, or electronics.
• Strong understanding of 3D printing in production, research and prototyping environments.
• 7+ years management of large budgets or profit/loss at a department, program, or project level.
• Ability to coordinate and guide root cause analysis efforts.
• Leadership experience with fabrication processes, integration processes, systems engineering standard methodologies, test, quality, and configuration management systems.
• Experience in process definition, development, deployment, and improvement.
• Customer relations and expectation management.

• Master’s degree in engineering or technical field, or MBA or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience managing 3D metal and polymer printing in a production environment.
• Experience transitioning manufacturing capabilities from development to production.
• Experience managing facility‑level capital improvements and upgrades.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Aerospace, space launch, military or commercial aviation, or heavy industrial equipment operational leadership.
