Advanced Field Service Engineer
As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional technical support and solutions to our customers in the aerospace sector. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our advanced aerospace technologies.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and will work on site at Boeing in the Seattle and Everett, WA locations.
In this role, you will impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by delivering high-quality service and support for complex aerospace systems, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and support for advanced aerospace systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Guide troubleshooting and maintenance of Honeywell aerospace equipment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions for customer needs.
- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience working on APUs, ECS and mechanical components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting avionics equipment.
- Experience working at the aircraft OEM, supporting the production line, preflight operations and flight testing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑starter, capable of directing own work and works well within a team environment.
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or an A&P license.
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., and creating reports and maintaining databases.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high‑pressure situations.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Annual base salary range: $86,400 - $115,000.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
