Position Overview nThe Senior BIM Designer MEP Engineer will review Revit and Navisworks models, assess development against BIM standards, and provide comments. The role supports partner teams across design, construction, and operations, maintaining BIM standards and processes, managing project BIM life cycles globally, and creating piping, instrumentation, and electrical plantroom layouts along with single‑line diagrams.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain BIM standards, processes, and workflows; train internal teams.
- Oversee BIM for the entire data center life cycle—design, construction, and maintenance.
- Lead discussions on best engineering and construction practices and share knowledge.
- Develop and manage BIM implementation strategies for complex international projects.
- Ensure BIM files meet company standards through consultant review, CDE support, and data quality validation.
- Coordinate BIM execution and project delivery with leadership.
- Create and maintain industry framework documents (BEP, MIDP, MPDT, etc.).
- Provide technical support and training on integrated workflows and digital technologies.
- Oversee smart object content, templates, and libraries; implement content management systems.
- Execute digital quality assurance controls.
- Collaborate with multiple design and engineering professionals on concepts and builds.
- Extensive experience in managing MEP delivery across multiple projects or units.
- 5+ years of design/construction experience.
- 5+ years working with Revit and Navisworks.

- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong organization and archiving skills for project documents.
- Experience with Tier 1 contractor projects or complex multidisciplinary programs.
- Familiarity with digital construction tools, BIM and lean methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of ACC and Procore software.
- Experience establishing and managing BIM & VDC models, including geo‑positioning and coordination.
- Degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, building services, or related discipline.
- Experience in mission‑critical design.
- Experience with piping, chilled‑water piping, instrumentation layout, plantroom design, and electrical architecture.
- Professional accreditation or membership (e.g., CIBSE, IET, Engineers Ireland).
- Postgraduate qualification in building services, project management, or sustainability.
- Training in digital design, BIM management, or innovative MEP technologies.

$125,000 – $165,000 plus bonus.
LocationSeattle, WA (Mercer Island), but will also consider candidates from Denver, CO, and Alexandria, VA.
