The position involves design of maritime infrastructure including container terminals, ports, harbors, and coastal defense facilities.

• Undertake design activities on maritime projects – container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, coastal DOD facilities, coastal defense, and development schemes.
• Perform civil design for terminals across the United States.
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
• Independently prepare engineering-related calculations and develop civil technical specifications, plans, and details.
• Use computer software as a tool for solving engineering problems.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule.
• Provide guidance to entry‑level engineers.
• Independently complete all primary design elements for engineering works.

• BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer Registration with the ability to attain Washington State PE registration within 6 months.

• Master’s Degree plus 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with computer-aided design (AutoCAD).
• Experience with ArcGIS.
• Preferred experience with Ports and Marine.
• Experience in the design of marine terminals, naval facilities, and port facilities.
• Enthusiastic, hard‑working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Relocation is available.

$125,000 – $150,000 annually, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
