Job Overview
Our client is a global leader in e-commerce and cloud technology, recognized for innovation, customer obsession, and large-scale operational excellence. Based out of Seattle, Washington they are looking to hire a Security Engineer IV on a Contract basis.
Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in hardware security, embedded systems security, or similar
- Experience designing, testing, and analyzing circuit designs and PCB layouts
- Knowledge of threat modeling, secure boot implementations, and cryptography (RSA, AES, HMAC, PQC)
- Experience with manufacturing security processes, including secret provisioning and secure production flows
- Hands‑on experience testing, debugging, or hacking hardware using common electronics test equipment
- Knowledge of circuit designs, assess circuit properly
- Knowledge of embedded security – how it’s used for enhancing security
- Hands‑on experience with common test equipment:
Oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscopes, logic analyzers, soldering
- Master's degree in relevant technical field or equivalent advanced experience
- Knowledge of side‑channel attack analysis and associated countermeasures
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, especially automated quality inspection techniques
- Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders
- Knowledge of debug interface security (JTAG, BDM), anti‑rollback mechanisms, and fault injection protection
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as C, C++, or Rust
