We are seeking a Structural Staff Engineer to design and prepare construction documents across diverse project types and building materials. As an integral member of the design process, you will develop project management skills, lead in‑house design teams, and serve a diverse range of clients. This role involves every aspect of the project—from design through construction—and requires sound technical, strong communication, and a professional attitude.
Required Qualifications- BSCE or MSCE degree (MSCE preferred)
- 0–4 years structural design experience
- Minimum EIT license required and in process to obtain P.E.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize, manage time and projects, and multi‑task in a demanding, fast‑paced environment
- Works effectively as an individual or as part of a project team
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written skills
- Collaboration with all levels of management, staff, and clients in diverse environments
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite

- Ability to drive locally and travel domestically as needed
- Drive to client project locations, primarily in the greater Seattle area
- Travel by airplane domestically for client projects, campus recruiting, conferences, etc.
- Require sitting for extended periods at a computer
- Stand, reach, bend, twist, squat, and move freely in an office environment; may need to lift up to 25 lbs
- Use office equipment such as phone, copier, printer, etc.
- $80,000–90,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Additional compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week (paid quarterly)
