Graduate Controls & Automation Engineer
Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career in automation, controls, and robotics? We are seeking motivated engineers with a passion for problem-solving and technology to join a structured training programme focused on developing the next generation of Controls & Automation Engineers.
What You'll Do- Learn and develop skills in industrial automation, controls systems, and PLC programming.
- Work with automated equipment, sensors, motors, robotics, and control systems.
- Support the design, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of automation solutions.
- Develop coding and software development skills used within modern engineering environments.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world automation projects.
- Recent graduate ) in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Robotics Engineering
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Related Engineering Discipline
- Exposure to programming through coursework, projects, internships, or personal learning using technologies such as:
- Python
- C/C++
- MATLAB
- Arduino
- Raspberry Pi
- PLCs or Ladder Logic
- Interest in automation, controls, robotics, and hardware systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A curious mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
- PLC or automation coursework/projects.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Experience with robotics, sensors, motors, or control systems.
- Internship, co-op, laboratory, or hands-on engineering project experience.
- Structured training in Controls & Automation Engineering.
- Exposure to PLC programming, industrial automation, robotics, and engineering best practices.
- Ongoing mentorship and professional development.
- The opportunity to work on large-scale automation and control system projects.
No prior professional controls or PLC experience is required. We are looking for engineers with strong foundations, curiosity, and a desire to build a career in automation and controls engineering.
