Job Description
- 7+ years of hardware engineering experience
- Experience collaborating with the ECAD/physical board designer and able to review PCB designs with Allegro, CAM
350, or equivalent - Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- 7+ years of experience with I2C, SPI, UART interfaces
- Experience interfacing with thermal, mechanical, firmware and software teams during product development
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout
- Experience in server technologies such as, thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity
- Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submissions
- Experience identifying and resolving complex issues
- Experience in component selection and understanding of component reliability
- Experience in designing and developing large-scale services
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- 10+ years of experience in server design for cloud or enterprise applications
- Strong organizational and planning skill
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
