🎭 ABOUT THE PLAY

Bhishma traces the life of the warrior who chose duty over desire, and loyalty over life itself. From his eternal vow to the battlefield of Kurukṣetra, the play explores sacrifice, destiny, and the cost of unwavering obedience to dharma.

This is a serious, text‑driven production rooted in classical storytelling, not a modern adaptation.

Actors must prepare:

• One English dramatic scene or monologue (1-2 minutes)
• One scene in any language of your choice (1–2 minutes)

The audition is for multiple characters in the play. The play includes kings and queens of different character traits. Anything that depict such authority with different character traits would be awesome.

Pay Rate:
We are willing to pay a stipend of 150 dollars. If we get more funds and grant we are willing to raise it.
