As a Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within your assigned accounts, while collaborating closely with the Senior Controller to support all regional financial activities. • Perform transactional bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including preparation, and posting of journal entries, general ledger allocations, and maintenance of financial records
• Support core accounting functions such as monthly and quarterly close processes, including accruals, billing, account reconciliations, and detailed balance sheet and P&L reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Analyze financial results for both internal and external use
• Track, maintain, reconcile, and review monthly P/L and balance sheet activity, resolving any accounting/reconciliation issues
• Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities
• Complete financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting; manages report preparation and distribution
• Execute project-based and process improvement work under the direction of management, contributing to ad hoc assignments, financial analyses, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial workflows and processes, and communicate findings to management to support decision-making, automation efforts, and strategic finance goals
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial reporting, revenue analysis, and supporting month-end close processes, with a strong understanding of general accounting practices and financial systems
• Accounting experience in food service required
• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses
• Adept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; committed and enthusiastic approach to delivering solutions to business customers
• Ability to multi-task between various priorities in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills
• Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel. SAP and S/4
  
  HANA experience a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
