Are you a financial strategist passionate about transforming marketing investments into measurable business growth? We're seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to optimize our marketing spend and drive strategic financial decisions that propel our innovative marketing initiatives forward.

• Develop comprehensive marketing budgets with precise forecasting and performance tracking
• Design financial models to evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment
• Generate insightful monthly and quarterly financial reports that illuminate marketing spend performance
• Lead strategic planning processes for marketing investments, including comprehensive scenario development
• Establish robust financial controls and streamline approval processes for marketing expenditures

Your day will be a blend of analytical deep-diving and collaborative problem-solving. You'll work closely with marketing leaders, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. From building sophisticated financial models to creating compelling visualization dashboards, you'll be the financial architect behind our marketing strategy.

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
