Overview
Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, drive key revenue initiatives, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports. This role will be supporting the E-Commerce business unit in the Americas as it expands its footprint. The Finance Business Partner will be instrumental in driving financial and strategic initiatives for E-Commerce.
Responsibilities- Partnership:
Become a trusted member of the country's leadership team and provide guidance on financial strategy to the executive team. - Analytics and business support:
Conduct analyses to drive revenue optimization, improve expense management and overall P&L. Develop recommendations and present to leadership for implementation. - Management reporting preparation:
Participate in monthly closing for management reporting, organize business reviews and drive insights from financial and operational data. - Projections and forecasts:
Assist finance business partners collect, produce financial projections and forecasts to ensure that the figures align with business fundamentals. - Financial Operations:
Develop and manage systems to support the financial operations of E-Commerce business by partnering with operations, product, sales, marketing and accounting teams. - Capital allocation and contract approval: review the procurement applications and financial terms in the contract of each business/department to ensure efficient capital allocation.
- Cooperation with other finance teams: cooperate with general ledger, accounts payable, taxation and other finance teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, strategy, and/or FP&A.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis; advanced in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated team player who collaborates effectively across functions, and skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
- Self-motivated, agile, and resilient in a fast-paced environment, and has high sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a technology company.
- Proficiency in SQL is highly desirable.
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $111467 - $205169 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
