Director of Finance

We are looking for a hands-on Director of Finance to lead financial planning and performance analysis for a high-growth technology business in Seattle, Washington. This role is ideal for a finance leader who is comfortable operating as an individual contributor while building rigorous planning models, delivering clear insights, and supporting executive decision-making. The position will focus heavily on core FP&A, with meaningful exposure to commercial finance and the opportunity to strengthen financial visibility across software and services revenue streams.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, multi-year planning, and management reporting processes with a strong focus on accuracy and business relevance.
• Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial models personally, translating business drivers into actionable performance insights for leadership.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to evaluate operating results, explain variances, and support strategic planning decisions.
• Oversee analysis of sales and revenue performance, including bookings, billings, and conversion trends that connect pipeline activity to recognized revenue.
• Develop reporting that improves visibility into key SaaS and software business metrics, helping leaders monitor growth and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis for services performance, including delivery metrics, profitability, and overall contribution to the business mix.
• Support month-end and periodic financial review activities by preparing clear reporting packages and performance commentary for management.
• Help establish and strengthen finance processes, including supporting change initiatives and finance-related system improvements where needed.
• Operate effectively as the primary finance lead in a lean environment, creating scalable foundations for future growth.

The salary range for this position is $165,000 to $205,000 + bonus.
