This flexible, on‑the‑go position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference and thrives in dynamic environments. Training is provided, and you will receive ongoing support from experienced clinical leaders.
Responsibilities- Conduct 100% of scheduled sessions unless time‑off has been granted or parents have communicated otherwise.
- Provide “subbing” sessions for other clients to maintain productivity when a session is canceled by the family; these will typically occur on Saturdays and within availability.
- Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans under direction from the Clinical Director and senior clinical staff.
- Travel to centers, homes, and other community settings to deliver services.
- Record completed sessions daily and write thorough notes.
- Communicate schedule changes and cancellations to the clinical team immediately.
- Participate in regular meetings, and promptly communicate with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone regarding treatment plans, behavioral intervention plans, family concerns, and questions.
- Fulfill the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of daily treatment notes, target data, and behavior data.
- Keep updated with site‑related documents, current clinical reports, and remain current regarding new research, trends, and developments in special education and related fields.
- Attend staff meetings, in‑services, trainings, and other meetings as requested.
- Complete additional job duties as assigned.

- Flexible availability; high demand Monday‑Thursday 3‑8 pm and Saturday.
- Complete new hire training conducted online and in person.
- Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID — California mandated).
- Reliable transportation required.
- Sensitive to working with a diverse population (ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic).
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to consistently‑making skills.
- Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment.
- Able to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures and regulations.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software.
- Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work.
- Constant sitting; frequent up and down from chair.
- Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening.
- Constant document handling, use of copier, fax machine, filing.
- Frequent typing, use of computer.
- Occasional walking around building, bending, reaching, stooping, pulling.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, moving items up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car.
- Sitting and maintaining close visual attention to write reports and perform computer work (15 %).
- Occasional lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading of toys and materials used in home visits (10 %).
