We are excited to be hiring for an
** Activities Aide/ Program*
* ** Assistant
* * to join our team. In this role, you will support our adult day health program by providing personal care and helping facilitate therapeutic group activities for our clients.
** This role pays $20.76 per hour
***
* Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
***** This position is represented by SEIU Local 775
***** Our Activities Aide/Program Assistants:
*** Build a caring relationship with clients to assist with their needs and goals, collaborating with caregivers and team members to support care plans
* Maintain care by observing and communicating changes in client condition
* Promote a safe and healthy environment for the client
* Promote client independence, guide education, and encourage engagement by leading activities that clients enjoy
* Support a respectful and engaging group environment
* Monitor participation in activities and provide support as needed
* Assist with kitchen duties such as meal prep, food service, and dishwashing
* Perform other duties as assigned
** What you need to succeed:
*** High school diploma or equivalent
* At least one year of experience in a health or social services setting is a plus, but not required
* Completion of HIV/AIDS information course (can be completed after hire)
* Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
* Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

*** Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
* Must be able to assist clients with mobility supportlocations:
