DescriptionNorthwest Eyes is a progressive, nationally recognized ophthalmic medical and surgical practice, and we’re looking for a Patient Concierge to work with our Refractive program who is passionate about delivering an outstanding patient experience. - Deliver a personalized and friendly patient experience during registration, including greeting patients, updating demographic and financial information, and collecting co‑pays.
- Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions, including assisting with paperwork and managing dynamic or escalated situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Schedule provider appointments, obtain pre‑certifications and prior authorizations, and coordinate interpreters as needed.
- Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and complete all required documentation.
- Balance daily cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and maintain electronic medical records and registration materials in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
- Operate and maintain office equipment and manage supply inventory and ordering.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G‑Suite, and Windows‑based systems.
- Team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to support all areas of the practice.
- Effective problem‑solving and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience; healthcare experience preferred.
- Competitive pay: $20–$24 per hour (DOE).
