PositionSummary
Our exciting Manager‑In‑Training (MIT) program gives you the opportunity to learn and grow at an established company with over 45 years of experience. As the newest associate, you’ll experience a custom interactive program that will guide you through hands‑on and computer‑based training, lasting approximately twelve (12) weeks.
Responsibilities- General Training & Comprehension – learn and perform the job assignments of the housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions and operate a variety of industrial cleaning equipment.
- Leadership Development – assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing of staff according to policies and procedures and federal/state requirements.
- Policies & Procedures – provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
- Reporting – maintain records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in report format to be delivered to HCSG and facility management.
- Training – be responsible for all training, quality control and in‑servicing staff to meet HCSG standards, touring various areas at the facility several times per day to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation.
- Leadership – handle managerial responsibilities including payroll submission, staffing patterns, effective coaching and discipline, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
- Communication – effectively communicate all directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
- Safety – utilize protective gear and ensure safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions; report equipment/cleaning product needs or malfunctions.
- Punctuality – consistent attendance and punctual arrival; timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule.
- Customer & Resident Experience – represent HCSG respectfully, be courteous, cooperate with supervisors, co‑workers, and client staff; interact positively with residents, staff and facility guests.
- Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with no injury to self or others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete web‑based reports.
- Ability to be at work as scheduled and on time.
- Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required.
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
- Work around food and cleaning products.
- Live in the service area.
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour. Rates are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and facility needs.
