Certified Behavior Technician - Early Intervention Program

Apply to the Certified Behavior Technician – Early Intervention Program at Seattle Children’s.

Provides behavior intervention and skill development curricula to individuals and families/caregivers of individuals with developmental, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a behavior analytic program. Interventions and curricula may be provided in individual or small group settings under the supervision of a Qualified Healthcare Professional (includes, but is not limited to, Behavioral Analyst I or II, Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor, and/or Clinical Director).

Collect data on programs and skills, provide oral and written updates on patient progress, and assist in discharge planning activities. Work in collaboration with program leadership on special projects as appropriate.

Required Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, special education, psychology, communication disorders, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 1 year of experience providing direct treatment services to children and families/caregivers.
Required Credentials
  • WA State Certified Behavior Technician Credential (CBT). Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and/or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) will be accepted in lieu of CBT.
  • Safety Care Certificate (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.
Preferred
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Experience working with caregivers and families.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Experience navigating multiple hospital systems.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
  • 1 year of experience working with neurodiverse individuals.
Compensation Range

$29.16 – $43.73 per hour.

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
