Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate must have +6 months of experience working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting

Responsibilities:

• Taking patient histories and vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
• Preparing patients for examination by the physician.
• Assisting the physician during exams and minor procedures.
• Administering medications and injections as directed by the physician.
• Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens for lab tests.
• Notifying patient of about lab results.
• Providing patients with information and instructions about medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Performing routine diagnostic tests such as EKGs and respiratory tests.
• Drawing blood and performing phlebotomy.
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing the providers schedule
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient medical records.
• Handling electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring confidentiality

Required Qualifications:

• BLS
• MA program from accredited by ASSCS, ACCET, CAAHEP, ABHES or national certification issued by CMA, NCCT or AMT

Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
