Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

This is a temporary to hire Medical Assistant position in a general cardiology clinic. The role involves both clinical and administrative tasks, including chart preparation, telephone triage, and assisting with authorization forms. The MA may need to travel to satellite clinics within the Seattle area.

Responsibilities:

- Chart preparation
- Telephone triage
- Assisting with authorization forms
- Refills
- Inbasket help
- Travel to satellite clinics (Edmonds, Ballard, Redmond, Bellevue)
- Administrative work
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- BLS certification
- GED or higher
- EPIC charting experience
- Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Cardiology experience
- MA-C certification (MA-R will be considered)

Special Considerations:

- Must be open to relocating to Seattle permanently if offered a permanent position.
- Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (not public transportation) and no additional scheduling restrictions.
- Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).

Scheduling:
- 5x8hr Days
