Behavioral Health Case Manager II – Washington
Location: Virtual, Washington
This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Monday through Friday, core business hours (Pacific Standard Time).
The Behavioral Health Case Manager II is responsible for performing case management telephonically and/or by home visits within the scope of licensure for members with behavioral health and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder needs. The position serves as a subject matter expert in targeted clinical areas of expertise such as severe mental illness, pediatric mental illness, and family engagement, and may be responsible for visiting members in person in care facilities in Washington state.

- Respond to more complex cases and account specific requests.
- Use appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop a specific care plan to address objectives and goals as identified during assessment.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of care plan and modify plan as needed.
- Support member access to appropriate quality and cost-effective care.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to meet identified needs of the members and collaborate with providers.
- Serve as a resource to other Behavioral Health Case Managers.
- Participate in cross-functional teams projects and initiatives.
- Requires MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field, or a degree in nursing, and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in social work counseling with a broad range of experience with complex psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.
- Current active unrestricted license such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC (as allowed by applicable state laws), LMFT, LMSW (as allowed by applicable state laws), or Clinical Psychologist, to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable states or territory of the United States.
- Previous experience in case management and telephonic and/or in-person coaching with members with a broad range of complex psychiatric/substance abuse and/or medical disorders.
- Managed care experience required.
- Managed Care experience.
- Experience in Case Management.
- Domiciles are preferred.
- Experience in health coaching and motivational interviewing techniques preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary
* range for this specific position is $68,400.00 - $117,990 annually.
