WORK SCHEDULE
  • Full-time Days (100% FTE)
  • Monday
    - Friday 10:30am-7:00pm

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule patients focusing on patient safety and reducing the likelihood of medical health errors
  • Participate in process improvement projects
  • Audit online tickets, scheduling appointments for accuracy of order placement, referral completion and resource selection
  • Act as a subject expert for the department scheduling model, think critically, and troubleshoot Epic errors for the team
  • Function proficiently within the team to assist with training of new staff and act as go team resource
  • Support team Lead in day-to-day operational goals
  • Respond to patient's need and concerns as appropriate maintaining Patient First mentality
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience
  • OR
  • equivalent combination of education/experience
