Allied Travel Careers is partnering with Fusion Medical Staffing to find a qualified RRT for a 13‑week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. You will provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
- Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
- Treat patients via chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and other methods.
- Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery.
- Document patient status and progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care.
- Educate patients and/or family members on medication use and equipment handling.
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of RRT practice.
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Valid respiratory therapy license compliant with state regulations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA/ARC).
- Additional certifications or licenses as required for the position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
- Computer literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Professional interpersonal skills with diverse personnel.
- Technical/motor skills for procedural assistance and equipment handling.
- Mental resilience under pressure, ability to cope with frequent public contact.
