Role: Performs a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts, and assists radiologists during invasive procedures. Conducts specialized studies such as Doppler, Nuchal Translucency, neonatal cranial exams, and other certifications (Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, etc.) are required for advanced status.
Responsibilities: Makes clinical judgments based on patient information, referrals, and assessments. Ensures accurate imaging and supports diagnostic processes. Works on-site in a clinical setting, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Completion of an ultrasound training program, eligibility for ARDMS or equivalent certification, current BLS certification, and at least 2 years of sonography experience. Strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams are essential.
