Houseperson - SEASW role at IHG Hotels & Resorts

This role has overall responsibility for assisting room attendants on assigned floors.

• Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses, linens, and other supplies.
• Deliver linens and supplies to room attendants while maintaining cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas.
• Respond to guestsʼ requests for housekeeping supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean other designated areas including public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas on assigned floors.
• Monitor and control supplies, amenities, and minimize waste within all housekeeping areas.
• Collect newspaper and other items for recycling.

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds and push or pull approximately 300 pounds.
• Frequent standing, moving around the facility, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Willingness to work varying shifts across a 7‑day period, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Hourly rate: $19.97 to $25.39 (may vary by location and experience).
