Account Executive – IT Recruitment (Seattle, WA)

The Opportunity

We’re expanding beyond Canada and searching for a driven and resourceful Account Executive to manage the full recruitment cycle from prospecting clients to converting them into long‑term partners at our first international office in Seattle, WA. As an Account Executive, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage your depth of staffing expertise as well as IT/IQ’s reputation and resources as an established leader in the Canadian market to drive rapid growth.

The right candidate
  • Has at least 1 year in the Technology Staffing and Recruitment industry.
  • Has at least 1 year of Account Management in Technology Staffing and Recruitment.
  • Is driven and self‑motivated to do their best work and generate rapid growth with an industry‑leading, performance‑based company.
  • Is resourceful and very well connected in the Seattle market.
  • Confident collaborating with internal teams as well as external clients.
  • Great communication skills and teamwork, can work well with our established recruitment team.
The Role

As the successful candidate you will take initiative to establish and grow IT/IQ’s network of clients and candidates in Washington and become an ambassador for our company’s culture as we continue to build our team in Seattle.

Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying lead accounts and developing new business.
  • Collaborating closely with clients to discover hiring needs, qualify opportunities, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Working with the recruitment team to sell Seattle's top IT companies to prospective candidates.
  • Working alongside our recruitment team to drive search efforts, qualify candidates, present profiles, and negotiate placements.
