The Shopping PXT team seeks a strategic HRBP to drive Talent Strategy for Amazon's Shopping organization. Shopping builds the world's best AI shopping experiences to make Amazon customers' first choice. We focus on inventing the future while improving current customer experiences.

Key job responsibilities

In this position you will partner with the various senior executives (VPs and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. This role is both a strategic and hands‑on role including improving organizational effectiveness, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence.

A day in the life

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with the ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. The HRBP in this role is also expected to leverage data to set HR priorities and establish mechanisms to drive change. Strong data acumen, analytical and strategic thinking, excellent communication, coaching, and project management skills will be required to be successful in this role.

Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in a Tech or Retail environment
  • 1+ years of HR generalist, management, or business partner role experience
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization
  • Strong business and HR acumen
  • Learning agility and growth mindset
  • Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • Strong Project/Program Management Skills
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Ability to work well across different functions and global locations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and to help leaders navigate a variety of organizational changes
  • Excellent judgment and effective communication – written, verbal and listening
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a business and HR team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
