Role Overview
At Atlassian, you will lead the Trust Engagement team in a remote, U.S. timezone‑based role. The team helps customers perform risk assessments and build trust in our on‑premise and cloud products. In this senior manager role you will drive the growth and expansion of trust initiatives across Atlassian.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and manage a high‑performing AMER‑based team of Trust Engagement professionals.
- Contribute to strategic planning with senior leadership, shaping and executing an enterprise strategy aligned with Atlassian’s Trust objectives.
- Drive improvements in processes, tooling, and reporting to enhance effectiveness and scalability of Trust Engagement programs.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Product, Sales, and Customer Support to deliver customer trust outcomes at scale.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic and enterprise customer escalations, driving timely resolution and preventing recurrence through post‑incident reviews.
- Support Atlassian Executive Briefings by presenting the Trust strategy to customers in pre‑ and post‑sales engagements.
- Support legal in negotiating security and compliance terms & exhibits for Atlassian Customer Agreements.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance domains.
- Experience building and leading high‑performing teams in a fast‑moving environment.
- Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive organizational change in security, risk, and compliance.
- Success in scaling trust and security practices across large organizations.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and privacy programs, including FedRAMP, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, etc.
- Hands‑on experience with large‑scale enterprise Cloud solutions.
Base pay is determined by skill, experience, and geographic pay zone:
- Zone A: $221,400 – $289,050
- Zone B: $199,800 – $260,850
- Zone C: $184,500 – $240,875
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
