Programmer Analyst

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

This position will support the whole development lifecycle – planning, requirements, designing, development, test and deployment for change requests, enhancements, data requests and bug fixes for the BG Enterprise Standard Gated Process application.

A successful candidate will also lead in designing complex Business Intelligence information models, utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. Candidate will combine programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.

  • Read and write formulas
  • Read and write VBA Code
• Python or R
• Business Intelligence concepts
• Oracle and Ubuntu Linux
  • Oracle:
    Skilled in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database administration would be relevant
  • Ubuntu Linux:
    Skilled in Linux administration, shell scripting, and familiarity with Ubuntu-specific tools would be relevant
• Oracle and Teradata
  • Teradata:
    Another relational database management system large data warehousing. Skilled in Teradata SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes would be relevant
• HTTPS/SSL/TLS
  • Skilled in implementing and managing these protocols are needed for roles security, application development and network administration
• WSSO NG
  • Web Single Sign-On (WSSO) Next Generation for authentication and identity management. Understanding security frameworks would be relevant

• Knowledge of how SQL agent jobs run, and other DBA concepts
• Advanced data visualization techniques
