Microsoft BI Developer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft BI Developer to join our team. As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, and SSIS. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs and deliver data‑driven solutions to improve business decision‑making.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Integrate data from disparate systems into a centralized data warehouse to support business intelligence solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
• Create complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to efficiently retrieve data for reporting.
• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business users.
• Use SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to create and maintain complex, paginated reports for operational and strategic needs.
• Optimize reports for performance and usability, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Leverage advanced analytical techniques to analyze large datasets and provide business insights through visualizations and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking business performance.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to ensure efficient data retrieval and report generation.
• Optimize the BI infrastructure, including data models, ETL processes, and reports, for scalability and performance.

• Proven experience with Microsoft BI Stack, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience in designing and implementing data models.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query for data transformation and analysis in Power BI.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques (ETL, APIs, data pipelines).

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Data Engineer or Power BI certifications.
• Microsoft Certified:
  SQL Server certifications or equivalent.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Services such as Azure SQL Database
  , Azure Data Factory
  , or Azure Synapse Analytics
  .
• Experience with cloud‑based BI tools and platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
