OverviewAs a Dedicated Support Research Analyst, you will partner with life‑science customers to solve consequential problems in healthcare using Truveta’s unprecedented electronic health record (EHR) database of 120 million patients. You will be either 100% dedicated to one account or 50% dedicated to two accounts, giving you the depth and focus to dive deep into challenging research questions.
Responsibilities- Meet with customers to understand needs for technical analyses and enablement, setting up weekly meetings with end users and account leaders.
- Scope solutions and analyses, working with the director to set timelines and manage client expectations.
- Develop and pursue an overall strategy for your dedicated support accounts.
- Produce studies and results using SQL, R, and Python within agreed deadlines.
- Collaborate with life‑science customers on peer‑reviewed publications.
- Communicate project status and collaborate with success managers to ensure client success.
- Excel in technical analytics support and directly work with customers on calls to troubleshoot analysis requests.
- Teach customers how to wrangle and analyze data using SQL, R, and Python on real‑world data to address empirical questions.
- Write regex queries using Databricks SQL to extract clinical concepts from notes per customer request.
- Create enablement materials as the platform evolves to onboard new researchers.
- Conduct investigations of data sources to demonstrate veracity and deliver feedback to internal teams on customer requests to inform product roadmap.
- Undergraduate or graduate level education in clinical research, data analysis, clinical informatics, or related field.
- Experience working with large databases consisting of millions of patient data.
- 3+ years of experience wrangling and analyzing EHR or other real‑world data sources in life‑science companies, CROs, or EHR data companies.
- Willingness to learn new coding languages, including internal proprietary coding language.
- 2+ years of experience delivering high‑quality research analyses to customers.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic start‑up environment.
- Statistics, regression, and propensity score matching.
- Survival analyses and Kaplan‑Meier curves.
- Spark/PySpark experience.
- Consulting experience.

The base pay for this position is $94,000 to $145,000. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
