AI team as a Data Engineer to lead the pivotal migration of sustainability data to modern AWS infrastructure, fostering a net-zero future. This role involves transforming and automating sustainability workflows into data-driven processes, significantly impacting our environmental goals. Your work will directly contribute to reducing the carbon footprint by creating an automated, scalable data infrastructure and ensuring precise data quality and consistency.
- Migrate ETL jobs from legacy to AWS, ensuring no operational disruptions.
- Set up and manage AWS data services (Redshift, Glue) and orchestrate workflows.
- Transform existing workflows into scalable, efficient AWS pipelines with robust validation.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand and fulfill data requirements for sustainability metrics.
- Document new architecture, implement data quality checks, and communicate with stakeholders on progress and challenges.
- Advanced proficiency in ETL Pipeline and AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue).
- Expertise in SQL and experience with Python or Spark for data transformation.
- Proven experience in overseeing data migrations with minimal disruption.
Experience in sustainability data, carbon accounting, or environmental metrics is highly preferred. Familiarity with large-scale data infrastructure projects in complex enterprise environments is essential.
