The AWS Hardware Engineering team drives system innovation in the servers used by all of Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, EBS and Cloud Front. Our engineers solve the hardest problems that fuse software, hardware, and the cloud. We take big bets on new concepts, enabling AWS services to continue to revolutionize the industry. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You will design and implement large‑scale software services for hardware qualification, encompassing CPU health scanning, performance benchmarking, and thermal/power validation. As a full‑stack software developer on our team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software across multiple platforms, working with CPU and Memory components utilized throughout AWS servers. You will have complete ownership of code from design through development, specifically working with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS to improve security, performance, quality, and cost.

You will work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where you’ll need to deliver high‑quality software on tight schedules. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of millions of servers powering AWS services worldwide.
