Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented Senior Contracts Manager to support Amazon Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business within  Amazon Web Services is at the forefront of the "cloud" computing and service industry providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, browsers and more. This Senior Contracts Manager will primarily support AWS's product development functions.

You must be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills as this position involves direct contact with principal business owners. The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard, being continually challenged, working in a team-oriented environment, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in drafting and negotiating the legal terms in a broad range of standard commercial contracts
• Can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review
• Can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with complex commercial/legal concepts and drafting, ability to quickly read and interpret legal terminology and reasoning
• 7+ years of drafting and negotiating the legal terms in a broad range of standard commercial contracts

• Knowledge of specific legal AI tools (like CoCounsel, Spellbook, or Harvey AI) and their benefits
• Experience in drafting and negotiating the legal terms inbound technology licensing and procurement contracts or a broad range of standard commercial contracts
