• Provide critical on-shift network operations support to  customers to diagnose and respond to large‑scale events.
• Support and maintain next‑generation networks.
• Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes.
• Partner with the broader Technical Operations organization to reduce operational burden.
• Work closely with Network Engineering & Deployment teams to ensure operational readiness for new deployments.
• Drive standards across the network and ensure full compliance with policies.
• Participate in impact mitigation during large‑scale events utilizing an established Event Management process.
• Lead event deep dives, produce high‑quality documentation, and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Improve detection mechanisms by designing and implementing new alerts.
• Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues and engage with mid‑ and senior‑level engineering teams for resolution.
• Create and review documentation and processes for recurring issues, new SOPs, knowledge‑transfer material, etc.
• Troubleshoot interconnectivity and network device configuration issues, including low‑level application interaction.
• Identify and drive opportunities for repeatable tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.
• Contribute to hiring and developing team members.

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
• 3+ years of work in large‑scale networking environments
• Experience with TCP/IP networking fundamentals and application of IP protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, and SNMP
• 4+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or equivalent
• 4+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP)

• 2+ years of work in large‑scale networking environments
• Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
