Senior Cloud Solutions Architect
Boeing is seeking a dynamic Cloud Solutions Architect to join teams across multiple U.S. locations, including Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA, and more.
As a senior architect, you will lead the design and implementation of highly reliable, scalable, and secure data and AI cloud platforms. Your work will empower the organization to make informed, data‑driven decisions while maintaining cost‑effective solutions.
Position Responsibilities- Lead strategy to build reliable and scalable data and analytics cloud platforms.
- Develop repeatable frameworks for delivering data and AI solutions.
- Establish architecture best practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Design and implement Self‑Service frameworks that enable business units to develop solutions in compliance with enterprise standards.
- Create cloud economics frameworks to monitor and analyze cloud costs.
- Consolidate legacy platforms into a single source of truth.
- Drive large‑scale implementations with focus on change management and technology debt reduction.
- Solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
- Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for critical capability needs.
- Own communication and collaboration across projects, including stakeholder reviews and cross‑team alignments.
- Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and cross‑teams.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in cloud and data architecture tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 5+ years designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure for data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- 5+ years of experience with large‑scale hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.
- 5+ years working with Apache Spark or Databricks.
- 5+ years leading cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- 5+ years developing data pipelines for on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid data models.
- 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current industry certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
- 5+ years in manufacturing domain with SAP.
- 3+ years implementing near real‑time and streaming IoT solutions.
- 3+ years in application integration, APIs, and microservices.
- 3+ years in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, and GenAI.
- Exceptional presentation, visualization, and analysis skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Competitive base pay, variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, HSA, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off.
Summary pay range for Level 5: $148,750 – $251,250. Summary pay range for Level 6: $174,250 – $293,750.
