• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree in CS, CE, ML, or related field with 4+ years of industry experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or related language.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, data mining, or parallel/distributed computing.
• Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.

• Use deep learning, ML, and NLP techniques to create scalable, language‑model‑centric solutions for personalized assistant systems.
• Innovate contextual knowledge‑extraction methods and information‑retrieval techniques that ground in context providers while balancing memory, compute, latency, and quality.
• Integrate GenAI models with customers' event‑management tools and implement AI translation/transcription (e.g., Nova Sonic) within AWS Connect to generate real‑time notes.
• Research advanced customer‑understanding and behavior‑modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and scientists to solve complex problems in personal knowledge aggregation, processing, modeling, and verification.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate state‑of‑the‑art algorithms and iteratively improve results.
• Strategically envision the evolution of conversational assistant personalization over a multi‑year horizon, identifying new opportunities to apply these technologies in real‑world settings.
• Communicate results and insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences through presentations and written reports.
