As part of the Sales Engineering team, you report to the Regional Engineering Manager and work alongside field engineers and product teams to align solutions with clients’ goals. You’ll lead product developments, collaborate with TAC and executive support, and be a technology expert in Routing & Switching, WAN edge, and Network Observability.

• Provide advanced post‑sales engineering support for Arista’s Open Networking Data Center and Campus networking deployments for enterprise and commercial customers.
• Review customer network designs for EVPN, VxLAN, leaf‑spine architecture and recommend deployments and operational efficiencies.
• Migrate or interconnect Cisco, Juniper and other vendors to Arista infrastructure.
• Assist with configuration build‑outs, including creating network provisioning automation using Python and Ansible.
• Provide proof‑of‑concepts and in‑depth testing to validate design scenarios.
• Interface with TAC, internal development teams and the customer.
• Advise customers on architecture, product prerequisites, features and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into Leaf‑Spine Network architectures.
• Assist pre‑sales engineers and account executives with network solutions design.
• Attend partner events, training sessions and provide ongoing training to customer teams worldwide.
• Communicate across all functions within Arista, clients and partners to understand business objectives and technical needs.
• Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for sales and clients.
• Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners and clients.
• Travel as required within assigned territory.

• Preferred network industry certifications such as ACE–L4, ACE–L6, ACE–L7.
• 7+ years of experience designing and deploying Campus and Data Center networks.
• Strong knowledge of leaf‑spine architectures; 5+ years with Cisco‑based technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, ASR).
• Experience in technical post‑sales roles (Network Consulting Engineer or Advanced Systems Engineer).
• Expert knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, EVPN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, multicast, QoS, WAN, network observability, and CLI.
• Programming skills in Python, Perl, or other scripting for network automation.
• Excellent customer service, verbal communication and white‑paper writing skills.

Base salary range: $113,000 – $175,000. Salary is based on skills, experience and location. The role is eligible for discretionary bonuses, commissions, equity and benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
