Engineer, Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA
. You will drive large-scale cross-functional projects and build automation frameworks for reliable data pipeline quality.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects to define and execute the technical roadmap for the WFM Data Services platform.
• Design and implement automation and monitoring frameworks to ensure data pipeline reliability and accurate operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build and maintain real-time, highly available data pipelines and scalable infrastructure.
• Define and enforce data governance and retention policies to meet compliance and security standards.
• Drive process improvements by automating manual workflows, optimizing data delivery, and enhancing infrastructure scalability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions for technical and business process issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or leading large-scale data projects.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and automation frameworks using big data technologies.
• Strong experience in data governance, retention policies, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver enterprise‑level solutions.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $60.00 per hour
