We’re building the Intelligent Execution Cloud —an entirely new operating system for modern business. Traditional workflows are brittle, tools are fragmented, and automation hasn’t kept pace with the way people actually work. We’re changing that.
Our platform empowers operators—the non-technical professionals who keep businesses running—to automate complex, multi-system processes simply by using natural language.
At the core of our technology :Portable Execution Graph (PEG) : A vendor-neutral spec that makes business logic portable, verifiable, and durable.
Unified Data Model (UDM) : A common language across disconnected systems, eliminating silos.
Together, these create resilient, trustworthy automations designed for collaboration at enterprise scale.
We’re early-stage, tackling the “missing middle” of enterprise automation—the space between basic task bots and code-heavy platforms. As one of our first executives, you’ll help shape not just the product, but the company, culture, and a new software category.
The RoleWe’re seeking a Vice President of Engineering who is equal parts strategist and hands‑on builder. You’ll translate our CEO’s vision into a secure, scalable, enterprise‑ready platform—while assembling a world‑class engineering team.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, embraces speed, and balances innovation with enterprise‑grade reliability. You’ll partner closely with the Chief Product Officer to deliver our MVP by Q1 2026, and build the foundation for a platform that redefines automation.
What You’ll Do Architectural Vision & StrategyTransform our core technology vision into a cloud‑agnostic, secure platform architecture.
Decide when to build vs. partner, leveraging open‑source when it accelerates our path.
Balance MVP velocity with long‑term scalability and enterprise requirements.
Product Delivery & ExecutionPartner with Product to translate use cases into sprint‑ready deliverables.
Drive the full development lifecycle:
Alpha, Beta, MVP—hitting milestones with quality.
Establish best practices in code reviews, testing, and release management to achieve a 95% workflow success rate.
Team Building & LeadershipRecruit, mentor, and inspire a top‑tier founding engineering team.
Build a culture of speed, ownership, and technical excellence.
Manage a blend of in‑house and outsourced resources to maximize impact.
Operational Excellence & SecurityImplement secure, modern infrastructure with Dev Ops discipline.
Build CI / CD pipelines that make deployments predictable and seamless.
Embed enterprise‑grade security (SOC 2 readiness, mTLS, RBAC, immutable audit trails) from day one.
What You Bring- Leadership : 10+ years in software engineering, including 3–5 in senior leadership at a SaaS company.
- 0-to-1 Experience : You’ve built and launched products from scratch in early‑stage environments.
- Technical Depth : Familiar with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker / Podman, CI / CD pipelines, Node.js, Rust, Protobuf, NATS, Redis, Postgre
SQL, Mongo
DB, Elasticsearch, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana). - Architectural Expertise : Microservices, event‑driven systems, DAG execution, multi‑tenancy, fault tolerance.
- Strategic Thinking : You understand how architecture drives competitive advantage.
- Communication Skills : Able to articulate technical vision to engineers, executives, investors, and customers alike.
- Passion : A belief in empowering operators and shaping the next era of enterprise automation.
- Build not just a product, but a new software category.
- Collaborate with seasoned founders who know what it takes to win.
- Define the DNA of a company positioned to reinvent enterprise automation.
