US – Seattle – 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Responsibilities

• Improve the core search algorithm. Possible focus areas include:
- Content understanding/matching: applying state‑of‑the‑art NLP and CV to match relevant videos for each search query and continuously improve relevance.
- User Behavior Modeling: solve the recommendation problem in search to increase personalization while maintaining relevance.
- Video Understanding: use NLP, CV, and other techniques to better understand video content and social context, boosting authority, credibility, and usefulness of results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Must obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire.

• Proficient coding skills and strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in one or more of the following: NLP, ranking, ads, search engine, recommender systems, distributed systems, and machine learning.

Location:

Seattle, WA

Compensation: $112,725 – $177,840 annually (base salary). Additional bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits may apply.
