Data Analyst 2, Nordstrom Media Network (Hybrid, Seattle)
Join Nordstrom as a Data Analyst 2 on the Nordstrom Media Network (NMN) Analytics team. The Customer Insights & Analytics team strives to make Nordstrom the best data‑driven fashion retailer among competitors, unlocking value across the enterprise through rigorous and thoughtful data application.

- Manage collaboration with stakeholders to address moderately complex retail media performance problems and execute structured analytical solutions.
- Execute advanced analysis on diverse data sources (behavioral, media performance) and leverage tools, including AI/generative tools, to produce high‑impact, actionable insights.
- Apply intermediate analytical methods (e.g., statistical analysis, causal exploration) to answer strategic questions and identify optimization opportunities for the business.
- Develop and deliver presentations using data visualization tools like Looker or Looker Studio, translating complex analytical findings into clear business narratives for management‑level audiences.
- Act as a knowledge resource for junior team members on best practices and analytical rigor.
- Maintain moderate independence and ownership over the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of analytical deliverables for assigned functional areas.
- A degree in a quantitative field such as business analytics, economics, finance, statistics, or a similar discipline.
- 2‑4 years of progressive corporate analytics experience, with solid working experience in retail media or digital advertising analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, capable of writing complex, optimized queries to manage data sets.
- Strong working proficiency in data visualization tools (Looker or Looker Studio) for building robust dashboards and analytical reports.
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis is a bonus but not required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex analytical work and strategic recommendations to management‑level non‑expert audiences.

$87,500.00 – $ Annual
