About Us: Arboreal Management is a mission-driven investment and property management company solving one of the region’s most urgent problems: housing. We have leveraged technology and expertise to grow to over 6,000 homes managed in four years -- doubling every year. Unlike most firms in our industry, we build our own software. We’ve already deployed internal tools to support leasing, compliance, reporting, and operations.

Now we’re looking for a full-stack developer to take that platform to the next level—with a focus on speed, automation, and practical AI integration. We see no limit to our growth. There are over 50 million rental apartments in the United States, and no at-scale property management companies. As a tech-first, skilled operator we feel well positioned to win.

About The Role: We’re hiring a full-stack developer (2–5 years experience) who’s deeply interested in AI tooling and automation. You’ll work closely with our local operations team and be supported by a senior remote engineering lead. You’ll build fast, iterate often, and ship products that solve real operational pain points. This role is ideal for someone who’s technical, curious, and ready to own projects—without the overhead of bureaucracy or long planning cycles.

What You’ll Work On:

• Internal tools platform (Node.js + Azure Functions + Planetscale + Svelte5)
• AI-powered workflows: document parsing, LLM messaging, decision support
• Lightweight ops-facing interfaces
• Compliance automation: LIHTC income certifications, rent limit enforcement
• Leasing tools: funnel tracking, intake forms, lead management

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–5 years of full-stack development experience
• Proficiency with Node.js / Svelte and strong data fundamentals
• Experience or strong interest in AI tooling and developer automation
• Comfortable working closely with operations and business users
• Based in Seattle or willing to work hybrid with our team
• Bonus: experience with Azure, App Folio, or housing/proptech systems
