Position: Head of Product - Alexa+ Visual Core & Echo Show Experience, (PACE)

Description

The Alexa+ Core Experience Product team leads the customer experience across Multi-modal (Echo Show) devices, the Alexa App, and Web experiences for Alexa, and cross-cutting Alexa+ core service experiences including conversational AI and and core UI presentation. Every day, we are working to build the best AI Assistant for our customers across the globe. We are seeking a Head of Product for Echo Show and Alexa+ Visual Core to join the team.

In this role, you will lead a team of PMTs to define the strategy, overall customer experience, and drive specific experiences for millions of Alexa customers across the world. You will partner closely with design, engineering, and many teams across Alexa to build new app experiences as we evolve into a more intelligent AI product.

This is a very visual role that requires the ability to think big, dive deep with UX and technical teams, and work across partners throughout the larger Alexa ecosystem to deliver mission-critical experiences and delight our customers. You must have a passion for consumer experiences, a deep interest in the AI space, and bring strong doc writing and product thinking to the team.

You must have experience building and maintaining a high performing product team. Customers love what Alexa can already do. They are even more excited about potential future with Gen AI.

Key job responsibilities
  • Set the vision and strategy for our Echo Show Endpoints as a Head of Product and GM. Define, build, and launch primary customer experiences used by millions of customers.
  • Partner closely with design and engineering to develop the next generation of UI infrastructure that unlocks high craft experiences at scale
  • Manage and grow a high performing PMT team
  • Drive product development from concept to launch with a world-class team of engineers, data scientists, and UX design experts.
  • Think Big and help solve challenging strategy questions
  • Have backbone. Be able to partner with multiple teams and drive to delivery
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Analyze and leverage data to drive decision making
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
A day in the life

No one day will be exactly the same in this role. In a given day, you may be bringing a strategy doc to senior leaders, filling an open role on the team, running a product team meeting, working with UX and engineering to solve a mission critical customer problem.

About the team

As an endpoint product team, we have direct impact on how millions of customers experience our products. We work across the Alexa organization to bring exciting new features and experiences to our customers. Many PMTs have been with the team for several years and our team is excited about being at the center of the AI revolution for consumers across Alexa.

Basic

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
